My Mac OS X client has an unexpected error after the release of the rarity update today.

Exact same problem here, also on Mac

Last time this happened on a Friday and it wasn't looked at till Monday, let us see how long before they notice this buy, respond and fix it.  Thankfully, it is Monday.

CM said it is known and being investigated.

If that is the case, why do they not restore the previous version, so we can play and fit the issue, then release their update!!!  It took 4 days to get it sorted last time!!

Ok, so they are reviewing it.  Great.

How about in the meantime they reinstall backup / last version before this update to get us playing now, rather than waiting days for a fix!!!  Common sense really, and we are getting frustrated because this is the second time within a month!!

Here's one method for fixing your issue: Burn a Windows recovery DVD and hold on tightly to it while taking a very long walk off a very short pier.

well i miss the chance of getting extra crystal and xp since my premium account is still active.

They 'say' they're reviewing the 'situation' of OSX and its "so many exceptions and errors".


Usually they say to start a new thread/post but I tend to agree it's  the same problem repeating.


I find it hard to believe they don't have a test server - at least as developers to test updates BEFORE they roll them out to customers without an ability to 'roll back'.

They released an update but the client crashes before completing update...

New update today - It works for me! Thank you!
